Unexpected result for a sleepyhead

I took a ProELT progress test about a month ago... and received the results today. 

It was a surprise to see my unexpected result. Overall... Alhamdulillah.... I did well, and I still couldn't believe that my trainer gave me full marks for my writing test (a test which I fear most of the time) Reading her comments made me feel like it's not meant for me. But hey... this is REAL!!! It's written specially for ME! 

Anyhow, I'm happy that she actually notices me in class (which I were often a sleepyhead..hahaha...) I hope that I can maintain my focus, achievement and good results and really looking forward to get C2 for my APTIST test next year.

Kolam

~Bukan KOLAM yang berisi air. Tapi KOLAM yang dibuat daripada BERAS.~

I did this with the year 5 kids recently. I planned to carry out this activity as we've started new topic, that is 'Culture and Tradition'. There's a reading and comprehension text in the textbook, so after finishing discussing the text with the kids, I took them to make the Kolam in the next class.

 They were intrigued when I instructed them to bring a hand full of rice each. Things needed are rice, drawing paper, poster colour, brush, pallete, newspaper, glue and some water.

1. Colour the rice. Then let it dry. Don't use too much of water because it will take time to dry off. 

Ticer, nak gaul dengan tangan je buleh?

Okay!

2. Draw a picture of a flower on a drawing paper. Put some glue on it and paste the rice carefully. Make sure to put lots of glue so that the rice will stick nicely on the paper.

3. Paste all the coloured rice onto the flower.

4. The result.

It's fun to do this once in while rather than strictly stay in the class and had a serious teaching and learning session with the kids. 

UPSR Trial had just ended

I gave an assignment to my kids this morning. They need to look up for notes and examples on Grammar Items. While they're searching the informations from the net, I did mine as well. An I found this.

Interjections

I like the explanation given on the page which says..

"Interjection is a big name for a little word. Interjections are short exclamations like Oh!, Um or Ah! They have no real grammatical value but we use them quite often, usually more in speaking than in writing. When interjections are inserted into a sentence, they have no grammatical connection to the sentence. An interjection is sometimes followed by an exclamation mark (!) when written. "

... which I unconciously had been using it again and again...(uhh... banyak benda yang tak sure lagi ni.. study oi!!!) Here are the esxamples of interjections and its meaning.
