Menyambal Terung Ghembang

Dari kecil J diperkenalkan dengan nama itu, Terumg Ghembang atau nama glamernya Terung Pipit.

Ni dah kali kedua J kutip dari kebun sekolah. Dan dah kali kedua menyambal tumis ikan bilis.

J takde nak bubuh apa-apa resepi, cuma J masak ikut macam mana yang Mak Iti pernah tunjuk ajar dulu.

Sebelum dimasak, cuma perlu basuh dah ditumbuk sedikit bagi biji terung tu pecah sedikit. 

Seterusnya...macam biasa masak sambal tumis ikan bilislah.

Mak Iti siap buat cicah dengan roti. So.. I can say that she liked it walaupun dia tak cakap sedap atau pun tidak..yeay!

Kelaparan Dalam Kerisauan

I felt guilty. 

I know.

I have been longing to eat these meatballs since last year and had been postponing my visit to IKEA for numerous times.

Today, after clocking out, I actually aimlessly drove back while my mind worked hard thinking about lunch. 

In the end, I ended up here. 

Since I have lots a papers to be marked, I took away these....

.......happily.

Walnut Tart

Went to the bakery shop nearby my house recently and found tarts on the display which looked yummy. It's the Walnut Tart and decided to buy one to give it test.

 It tasted nice. The caramelized walnuts were crunchy and not too sweet which the sweetness was just nice to my liking. I just wonder what was the filling in the middle of the tart. I couldnt figure it out whether it was a cake (since the texture was a bit coarse) or something else. 

It's quite pricey though.. Not more than RM5.

Breakfast at Hayaki Cafe

It's a corner lot shop behind the Old Town White Coffee restaurant at the Platinum Walk, Danau Kota. This restaurant opens 24 hours and you may come whenever you like. 

I had nasi lemak. Very fulfilling and the sambal was quite spicy.

Mak Iti had Nasi Dagang.

I recommed this set. Nasi Berlauk with free iced Teh O. It'll just cost you RM5.90, if I'm not mistaken.

Pisang Berkeju

Ini adalah versi segera dan pantas. 

Pisang goreng panas

(beli kat gerai makcik tepi jalan kegemaran anda. Kalau sampai rumah dah tak panas, sila panaskan)

Cheddar cheese slice (potong kecik2)

Chocolate syrup / nutella

Tabur cheese atas pisang yang panas. Titik/tuang/tabur choc syrup atau nutella atas  cheese sesedap rasa.. 

Done.

Sila NGAP!

My Happy Weekend.

It's tiring when you have to go to school on Saturday. Eventhough there were not many pupils attended but still working on SATURDAYS????

(I know it's just a mindset which needed to be reset again hehe)

In order to please myself (my mood especially), I went to One Utama just for these Churros!

It's on the new wing LG floor. Two shops next to the Old Town White Coffe shop and opposite the Daiso. You'll a a display of colourful macarons in front of the shop.

Morning Market Popcorn

While chatting with fellow friends on whatsapp, someone mention going to the cinema to watch Hobbit 2 and buy popcorns instead if the theatre is full.

There's no TGV cinema here in my hometown as my favourite popcorn would be from that cinema. There's one small cinema but I don't really favour theirs. So, I went to a morning market near a kampung. I found a stall selling popcorns.

I didn't straightaway buy the popcorn but I did a little observation from afar. Everytime the popcorns pops, fell out from the pot, people will be gathering around the stall and bought them. The colour of the pop corn changes from pink to green to yellow and they repeat..Non stop!

Then only I decided to buy one myself and they tasted good! The sweetness, saltiness and crunchiness were really satisfying. I even have to giveway to Mak Iti too as she seemed to liked it. ^_^

This one will be in my 'must buy list' whenever I go to the morning market again next time.

Making Tarts in School

It's a busy year indeed. Haven't had much time to go lunch together with friends after the UPSR exam.

One of my friend is a baker. She brought her oven to school and we did this during our free time. It's yummy!

Bila Daun Palas Tak Cukup

.... kita bungkus gulung padat-padat macam bantal pelok jek.. hehe...

J: hanya berjaya membungkus satu dengan comey, gemok dan padat je (yang paling cantik dalam tu). Yang lain nan  hado..tah hape-hape. Macam la first time baru buat. ^_^

Bila Stress

Cempedak Fritters

It has always been my favourite! My colleague, the man in green shirt brought a number of cempedak from his village. I suggested to him that we can fry them at the preschool kitchen.

Just look at the fruit. It's flesh was thick, sweet and juicy! Yummeh!! We actually took turns to fry them and it tasted even more yummy with the crunchiness of the crispy batter.

Ok. I'm salivating right now. ^_^
Where can I find cempedak for breaking my fast today?????

Ramadhan #28

Beli fry pan baru. Ceramic coating katanya. Besar pulak tu. Yang lama, non-stick coating tu dah mula berbulu. Takut memudaratkan kesihatan pulak. Tak sampai RM60 pun.

Petang tu terus cuba masak Ayam Masak Merah Madu. It was my first trial. Almost a success. Sedikit pedas dan kurang tomato puree. Takpe.. lainkali leh cuba lagi!
