I've been eyeing this restaurant in Kepong Village since it started its business. Madam Lim's Kitchen served Nyonya, Chinese, Thai and fusion food. I had the intention to try the food there, but I just haven't had the time to go there.
One day, a colleague suggested that we had our late lunch there after a short meeting at school.
I ordered Char Mee and iced Earl Grey Tea
My friend ordered Mee hailam & ABC, while the other Ginger Beef Kuey Teow and Cendol.
We also ordered Fried Wantan and Fried Chicken Wings (not in the picture).
My say about the food I've eaten and tasted...
Mee Hailam: OK. Tasted like the usual Hailam Noodle that can be ordered at Kedai makan Tom Yam
Char Mee: Savoury and a bit sour too. The grounded nuts sprinkled on the noodle adds the flavour to it. Not bad at all!
Ginger Beef Kuey Teow: SUPERB!! For a Kueyteow Kungfu fan (that's me), I really LOVE it! The gravy tasted good with lots of ginger and the beef were tender and I can say that everything tasted perfect and Yummy!!!
Eating good food is indeed a favourite self reward for myself.
Well.. who doesn't, right?
notakaki: Time spent with friends is far more invaluable self reward for me these days... I guess... it's only me who haven't a partner yet...To be frank... I am jealous.. like totally! haha.. . But at times I'm grateful as there are lots of things that I could still enjoy being single and no string attached. I think I should enjoy and cherish this moment while I still can! ^_*

In the minute it takes you to read this, teachers all over the world are using their "free time", and often investing their own money, for your child's literacy, prosperity, and future.
